2026-07-02  Learn Karate

Garforth and Mirfield Shukokai Karate Club are welcoming new beginners. They train on Monday and Thursday at St Mary?s Church Hall, Kippax from 6pm to 7.30pm. All abilities welcome. 

2026-06-30  A Little KAOS

Kippax Amateur Operatic Society (KAOS) will be performing a preview of their next production Plague at the Summer Fair at St Mary?s Church Kippax on Saturday 4th July (10am to 2pm). The full performances of Plague will take place from 29th July to 1st August in St Mary?s Church Yard.

Entries to Kippax Yard Sale Trail are now open so Kippax Parish Council can add you to the map. Email your address to yard.sale@kippax-pc.gov.uk. The event takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August from 10am to 4pm and is a free event.

RSPB St Aidan?s are looking for Car Park Volunteers to help visitors get their day off to the best possible start. On busy weekends and bank holidays, you'll help keep traffic flowing, guide visitors to available spaces, assist with parking payments, and direct people to the welcome area. Kippax Parish Council have announced that the grumpy old man from the movie UP by 2 Lyndale was the winner of the 2026 Kippax Scarecrow competition. Well done and congratulations to all entrants.

Kippax Scooter Club are holding a Multimeet at Kippax Welfare Sports and Social Club on Sunday 28th June from 12.30pm. Trophies awarded for 5 classes.
